Essential oils can be harsh on young skin so be sure to research a little on what is safe for kids. Make sure the recipe is good for the age of the children you are planing to make soap for. We want our young one to stay cute - just like they are so be gentle.Crayon Soap - for kids of all ages - ALWAYS WITH PARENTAL SUPERVISION
You will need : 1 ice cube tray or crayon shaped soap mold
1 cup of snow flakes (from craft store), or shave an unscented bar of vegetable soap
food coloring of your choice, add until desired color
2 or more tbsp. hot water
In a small cup or bowl:
Mix hot water with snow flakes, add color, stir until dissolved, pour into ice cube tray. Let harden for about 2 hours or until completely cool. THEN ENJOY !!!

Good job with soap making - it is so fun !!! Just a quick note, one of the best ingredients I found for my soaps lately is called ADZUKI BEAN, you grind them up (tsp full) and add to your soap. I use them in melt and pour goats milk base and also add ground oatmeal, add your fav essential oils and makes your skin so soft. Adzuki Bean is know to help your skin retain moisture.

I am fairly new to the art of soap making but have made quite a few Glycerin soap base soaps, especialy colorful ones with added frangrances like vanilla or lavender.I have gathered a few recipes and posted it to my blog, they are very basic but as I become more advanced so will my recipes become more complex!
